Any specific sci-fi geeks considering a sometimes-here acquaintance? I live overseas and only come home to Portland a good number of times a x months. online dating dating in Pembroke I have some benefit friends here, but am aiming to expand my multi-level and meet other individuals.
I'm looking if anyone else is interested in and willing to discuss of the following:
The science fiction/fantasy country (everything from Isaac Asimov to make sure you Joss Whedden)
History (personal interests include the ancient or ancient world, but I'm offered to anything)
Role winning contests (specifiy TT or possibly LARP, since Document don't do pc gaming. No objection for it, I'm just not a good conversationalist on a topic)
Good new ways to take around the world (no, I'm not preparing to post my strategies here online and give these individuals away so freely)
Comparative religions (note which means discuss, not proselytize)
Travel (US, international, doesn't matter. My own experience is actually mostly in the usa and the Muslim world)
I'm looking to replace all the American (or even primary world, really) goods I don't implement when I'm dwelling. Movies are wonderful (including old types now playing with the cheap theaters. ) Dinner is normally good (last Mexican food I had created was cooked just by Indians and previously had a decidedly curry style. I like American native indians, and I want Mexican, but each of the really shouldn't often be mixed. ) Bookstores are generally fun, but often cause buying books, that we can't afford taking back with me personally. Hiking is wonderful, but I own up to I'm a fair-weather hiker, so that will not be so terrific this time. Random weird local activities we don't know about may be fun as well should you have any to recommend. I'm not in the drinking/dancing thing, but am offered to most anything altogether different.
To be sharp, I'll pay my way to most things requires funding. This isn't a cheapskate's tactic to get others to purchase me.
I have (access to) an auto and am allowed to get around Portland/Vancouver with out problem. (Well, We've my own van, too, but it's tag cloud expired x yrs ago while i moved overseas, i really don't drive the software much. ).
